His was slightly larger than the original version in the tutorial (which you can find here). I had two fat quarters that Connor had picked out on a trip to my local fabric store (from last January, I believe). We were saving them for a fun little project.

You are so right this is perfect for the little toys! When those dinosaurs popped out of the bag I thought of my grandson who is crazy about all things dinosaurs!
